My Encounter with My Instructor 

Until just a few years ago, I was also a competitor.

Despite my best efforts, I never achieved the results I had hoped for, and often found myself struggling through injuries, setbacks, and self-doubt.

There were times when, on the very day of a tournament, I broke down from exhaustion or ran away out of fear.

During those moments, the ones who stood by me were my family—and one particular instructor.

No matter how many times I failed or lost my way, that instructor continued to watch over me and quietly guide me back to the right path.

There was a period when I could no longer practice karate due to a serious illness, and I stepped away from the dojo entirely.

But one day, my instructor offered to train with me again.

Through those sessions, I rediscovered the true joy of karate.

I still remember the tears that fell as I practiced, overwhelmed by emotion.

That day, he told me:

“You can still do this. Do you really want to end your journey as just an ordinary athlete?

Never forget—you are a world-class competitor.”

Those words remain deeply engraved in my heart and continue to guide how I teach today.

Every individual holds limitless potential to perform not only at the national level, but also on the world stage.

Our mission as instructors is to draw out that potential and guide each athlete toward their goals.

We stand beside every student, identifying their challenges, setting clear themes, and helping them progress step by step toward achievement.

No matter the obstacle, we remain committed to their growth—together.

During my years as a competitor, I never achieved results I was fully satisfied with.

Even so, I never stopped training—I kept showing up, day after day.

Hard work does not always guarantee success.

But without effort, nothing ever begins.

There are things that only those who persist can truly earn.

You never know when your opportunity will come.

That is why you must continue your daily practice—so that when that moment arrives, you will be ready to seize it without hesitation.
